Cheongpoong Palyounglu

In Chosun Sukjong(King) on the 28th year(1702), Busa Lee Gi Hong established Namduck Gate and then, in Gojong(King) on the 7th year(1870), Busa Lee Jeek Hyeon repaired this gate again. Palyounglu is the gate and people came in and out Cheongpoongbu by through this gate. 3 rocks were arranged in the front and 2 rocks were arranged at the side and this is called 'Paljak house'.

If you climb the northern stone steps, you can find ‘Dae’ which is made of Hongye as Seongnu gate.

In this gate, checkered floor was placed and this place was surrounded by railing. Name of this gate is based on Busa Min Chi Sang's Cheongpoong 8 sights as 8 Yeong poem. This gate was moved from Cheongpoong -myeon Eup-li which was submerged by Chungju dam in 1983.
