Cheongpoong Dohwa-li Goga

This is an old house in Dohwa-li, in the shape of 'ㄷ‘, but whole shape of this house is 'ㅁ’ because of annex. In the center of this house, Daecheong is there and the main room and the opposite room are at the both side of Daecheong. The kitchen and Sang room are in front of the opposite room.

Generally, in the main room and the upper room, Jangji gate can be installed, but this house blocks the gap of the main room and the upper room so this is a unique style.

Daecheong and kitchen is really large compared to the scale of the house.

In the front of Sang room, Tuetmaru was installed so the people could entertain customers. Also, round wooden chimney and Kocul(turning on the light) are representative things of private houses in Taebaek Mountain chain regions.
